Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Real Review by Sumeth 2 months ago
I have a lot of respect for female-owned businesses, and I always try to support them whenever I can. Unfortunately, my experience at Boisahaki Restaurant in Astoria was disappointing. The food did not meet my expectations and, in my opinion, lacked flavor. I would rate the taste very low overall. I am sharing this review honestly in the hope that it helps improve the dining experience for future customers. I appreciate the effort that goes into running a business and wish the owners success, but based on my visit, the food quality needs significant improvement.

Had an amazing experience here! We tried their ilish mach, chicken roast, lotpoti, and chingri bhorta, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The food tasted very fresh, authentic, and full of homely Bangladeshi flavors that instantly felt comforting. The ilish mach was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the chicken roast was soft and rich - probably the best chicken roast I had in USA, the lotpoti had the perfect balance of spices, and the chingri bhorta was simply outstanding. You can genuinely tell they maintain the quality and freshness of their food. Definitely a place weβd love to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Bangladeshi food!

Bangladeshi cuisine. Restaurant was cool with air conditioning. Could be a little more hygienic. Food was good especially the milk tea.

Got the opportunity to try their roti with omelet and stewed vegetables (my apology for not really knowing the dishes name Orz) and oh my I can't be more satisfied with this breakfast. It reminded me ao much of my favorite Taiwanese breakfast θ₯ζ²Ήθι€ and was exactly what I needed. Besides, the restaurant is very clean (both 1st floor and basement), the food is super fresh and flavorful (you can really be rejuvenated from a proper meal) and I love the owner Ms. Rimi who is like a sweet motherly figure to everyone coming to her restaurant. Definitely recommend and definitely bringing friends here next time I get the chance!!!
